Yes, subject to GPU policy and successful verification. Vendors may be based in Gujarat or in other Indian states.

Does vendor registration guarantee sales?

No. Vendor registration provides visibility and a structured compliance identity. It does not guarantee orders, sales or commercial performance.

Does vendor status reduce a supplier's own responsibility?

No. Vendor registration does not relieve any supplier from its statutory, contractual or product-quality responsibilities.

Does GPU Verified Vendor mean every medicine is genuine?

No. GPU verification relates to reviewed business credentials and compliance status. It is not a guarantee regarding the authenticity or quality of every medicine or batch supplied.

Is GPU verification a Government certification?

No. GPU is an independent trade body. GPU verification is carried out under GPU's own policy and is not a Government certification, licence or approval.

Does GPU provide legal immunity?

No. GPU provides structured support, guidance and access to professional assistance. It does not and cannot provide immunity from law.

Can GPU stop Drug Department action?

No. GPU does not obstruct lawful inspection, investigation or regulatory action. GPU helps eligible Members maintain proper documentation and respond responsibly.
